“We’ve used Giko as our driver in Bali for a few years now, and we genuinely couldn’t recommend him enough. Over the years, he’s become so much more than our driver. He’s become a great friend and someone we consider family.
Giko has helped us with absolutely everything during our trips, from organising activities and adventures, helping us with pricing and making sure we’re not being overcharged, to helping with communication and bookings to picking up our washing and organising it with a local to get cleaned for us.
On our latest trip Giko dropped us at the airport for our flight home, but after being delayed for hours, our flight was eventually cancelled. The airline put us in a hotel that we didn’t feel safe or comfortable staying in. We messaged Giko in the middle of the night, and without hesitation, he got out of bed at 1am and drove over 40 minutes back out to come and get us. He took us all the way back to our villa so we could feel safe and comfortable, then got up again first thing the next morning to pick us up and take us back to the airport for our new flight.
Some of our favourite memories in Bali have been with Giko too. We love bringing him along on our adventures whenever we can because we always end up having the best time together.
If you’re looking for a driver in Bali, we genuinely couldn’t recommend anyone more. He is reliable, kind, trustworthy, helpful and an all-round beautiful person. He goes above and beyond for us and his clients.
